Topic : Fundamentals of Writing a Film

Satyanshu Singh is a National Award winning filmmaker, writer and professor of cinema. His directorial debut was a Kashmiri short film ‘Tamaash’ that won numerous awards around the world. His poems featured in Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Udaan’ and his lyrics in ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ and ‘Sulemani Keeda’. He has designed and conducted screenwriting courses at Anupam Kher’s ‘Actor Prepares’ and more recently, AIB First Draft, an intensive six-month writers’ residency program where ten writers from different parts of the country underwent training under him.

Note : One representative per team must be present at 5 pm with the signed Team Leader’s Agreement. Teams are assigned a genre by picking out a chit from a hat. At 6:59 pm, the prop, character and dialogue will be announced. At 7 pm sharp, teams set off for their challenge!

Note : To be considered for judging, your film must be in by 7 pm. 7:30 pm is the FINAL deadline – a grace of half an hour. Any film coming in after 7:30 pm would be a LATE film and will be screened but is not eligible for jury awards.
